This is such a powerful story, and my boys were completely drawn in. It’s about an Italian cyclist who secretly helped hundreds of Jewish people during WWII – and no one knew for decades. The illustrations are striking, and the story is told in a way that’s both accessible and deeply meaningful. A great pick for older kids ready to learn about real-life courage.
